U.S. Inspector General Richardson, responsible for monitoring U.S. aid to Ukraine, has arrived in Kyiv. His task is to ensure transparency and accountability of the support provided by the United States and to promote Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Richardson to Ukraine! The OIG’s work to ensure transparency and accountability of U.S. assistance is an important part of our efforts to support Ukraine’s aspirations to join the EU and NATO and to build public support for Ukraine’s fight for freedom,” said U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Brigitte Brink.
This visit is another confirmation of the U.S. readiness to support Ukraine on its path to stable development, enhanced security and European integration.
